style icons: Iris&Daniel

recently unearthed this lovely pair on chictopia.

Iris and Daniel have wonderful style - although I much prefer Iris’ style than Daniel’s. He has a lot of hits-and-misses and far too many “fashionista”-esque outfits (pigeon-toed poses and all), whereas Iris very much has her own sweet sixties-inspired style that really works for her, and is able to dress according to themes without losing her personal style (something that I find Daniel to be lacking).

But at seventeen years old, these teens are amazing dressers!

eeek the colours and the fabrics (could do without the tartan inside - maybe some deeper colours would have worked better)

totally inspired to shop in the little girls’ section when I possibly go to the States next month. I’m 5’2” — kids over there are pretty big these days, right?
